Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse datasets.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their data and analytics needs, translating them into effective data science solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting their technical and career development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, recommending innovative approaches.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to
  - technical stakeholders, presenting findings effectively.
• Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and quality of deliverables.
• Contribute to the development of the company's data science infrastructure and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with Data Visualization tools: Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power
  BI, Tableau.
• Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specs.
• At least 5 years of
  - on experience as a data scientist or similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Experience leading and mentoring data science teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and working with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong
  - management and
  - solving skills.
• Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Residency.
• Availability to work in the office once a week.
