About The Job

• As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work with team members to create sophisticated solutions across the TUI Group, addressing various business objectives and challenges. Leverage your technical skills and business understanding to maximise value.
• You will communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, junior and senior, tailoring communication to meet demands and expectations. You will break down complexity, use effective data visualisations, manage projects in agile ways, and help junior colleagues to deliver value.
• You will work in a fast‑paced team of AI enthusiasts, delivering prototypes to prove value and scaling successful solutions into production with robust design.
• You will solve business problems, automate processes, and exploit cloud environments. You will evaluate options and balance simplicity with sufficient sophistication, using a broad range of data science methods and data architectures (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses). You will source data from various areas as needed.
• You will have opportunities to research and stay informed on new developments, evaluate new options, and share knowledge with the team and wider data science community.

About You

• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, mathematics, or related analytical field.
• Proven experience applying advanced data science methods to real‑world business problems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modelling, and data analysis, with proficiency in Python and SQL producing production‑quality code.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL/No
  SQL databases and platforms like Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of data architectures (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses) and Dev
  Sec
  Ops in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git) and collaborative, agile development practices.
• Skilled in data visualisation and storytelling to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
• Customer‑focused engineer with a passion for high‑quality digital products, continuous improvement, and effective team collaboration.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with an understanding of the social, legal, and ethical impact of AI technologies.
