Senior Data Scientist Lisboa

Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist with deep experience in
- series forecasting, clustering, and feature engineering to lead enhancements of a medical inflation model for a major health insurer.

Responsibilities

• Improve forecast accuracy and interpretability of the UK inflation model
• Design and test new features (clinical, economic,
  - level)
• Develop and validate enhancements in collaboration with actuarial and pricing teams
• Support the handover to an ML Engineer for production deployment
• Operate within a governed ML Ops environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar roles.
• Hands-on knowledge in delivering and leading data science and machine learning projects.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure.
• A
  - 's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or any similar education.
• Strong ability to effectively convey technical concepts to
  - technical stakeholders, preferably in English.
