Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

At Finsolutia, we are growing our Information Technology (IT) team and are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer (M/F) to join us in Lisbon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working with data, thrives on solving complex challenges, and wants to play a key role in shaping data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing data models, ETL pipelines and data integration processes by integrating data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms, etc. )
• Ensuring every DWH process precision, efficiency and scalability through monitoring, tuning and optimizing the platform
• Help expanding data models of our Data Warehouse and our Data Marts by designing robust structures, tables, and objects
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance standards
• Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical)
• Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality
• Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data‑driven decisions

What We’re Looking For (Hard Skills)

• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and Modern DWH architecture
• Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Dev
  Ops practices
• Professional experience of configuring and running Databricks on any public cloud (Azure is preferred)
• Strong experience with ETL processes dealing with big amounts of data
• Strong expertise with SQL Server and performance optimization
• Good knowledge and experience with Fabric and Postgre
  SQL are strong differentiation points
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 7 years in any industry sector
• At least a secondary school qualification (A-Levels or equivalent)
• Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus
