- currency accounts. We are currently undergoing significant expansion and are looking for a Senior Database Administrator to join our Technology team. This role can be based in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, Vilnius, or London, or be remote anywhere in Europe.

This role involves:

A highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering both

- premise and cloud clusters of Mongo
DB and Maria
DB, with at least 3 years of production experience with Galera cluster.

You will:

- Design, implement, and maintain our database systems for optimal performance and reliability.

- Manage and monitor
- and
- based database clusters, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.

- Provide expert guidance on database design and architecture to support our growing infrastructure needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues promptly.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and schema design for new features and services.

- Plan and execute database migrations with minimal downtime, ensuring data integrity and system compatibility.

- Administer databases on Debian Linux platforms and utilize Bash scripting for automation and routine tasks.

- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, and implement them to enhance our database systems.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of production experience with Galera cluster.

- Proven experience in administering Mongo
DB and Maria
DB clusters, both premise and
- based.

- Demonstrated success in database migrations.

- Proficiency in Debian Linux and Bash scripting.

- Strong understanding of database principles, architecture, and best practices.

- Experience with database backup, recovery, and replication strategies.

- Excellent
