We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join one of our projects in Lisbon .

Location: Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle , SQL Server , or Postgre
  SQL databases
• Configure and manage replication , failover , and clustering strategies
• Perform performance tuning , index optimization , and query analysis
• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Ensure data integrity , availability , and security of all managed databases
• Plan and execute migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Automate routine tasks using scripts and monitoring tools
• Collaborate with Dev
  Ops, development, and infrastructure teams
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Database Administration
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Oracle , SQL Server , or Postgre
  SQL
• Strong knowledge of high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations
• Familiar with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Skilled in SQL performance tuning , query optimization , and indexing
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus , Zabbix , or Nagios
• Ability to write scripts in Shell , Power
  Shell , or Python for automation
• Experience with security protocols , data encryption , and user access controls
