Job Description

Responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems and business processes to ensure high levels of data integrity, performance and availability. Works closely with development, operations and security teams to support
- critical applications.

Designing an implementation of database systems in the Information Systems

• Monitor and support critical business processes;
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers for data manipulation and reporting;
• Working closely with Development teams to improve the value of business processes outcomes;
• Manage high complex Microsoft SQL Server, Postgre
  SQL.

Administration and maintaining databases in operational conditions

• Implementing backup systems to ensure the integrity of all database data;
• Ensuring that backups are made in accordance with strategy defined by each business line;

Provide technical support

• Provide support to developers and APS teams;
• Intervene in the event of incidents which limit the performance of databases or access to information;
• Active participation in
  - mortems for major and/or recurring database incidents;

Technical advisory

• Ensure technological monitoring to maintain the required performance and availability through visualization tools (e. g Dynatrace, Power BI);
• Assess and deploy innovative solutions aiming to simplify, automate and optimize database costs;

Technical Skills

• Solid experience with ETL processes Development, optimization and monitoring (SQL Procedures, Functions, …);
• Root cause analysis skills;
• Experience with SQL performance tuning, partitioning and indexing;
• Experience with Master Data Services;
• ITIL;
• Dev
  Ops (CI/CD);
• Monitoring tools (e. g. Dynatrace, ELK, Zabbix);
