We are looking for a Senior Database Analyst to join our team and play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our database systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest levels of data integrity, performance, and availability , while collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams to support
- critical applications.

This position requires strong analytical and technical skills , a minimum English level of B2 , and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

The role follows a hybrid work model , with 2 days per week onsite in Lisbon or Porto .

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database systems within the Information Systems ecosystem.
• Monitor and support critical business processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data manipulation and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve business process outcomes.
• Manage complex database environments in Microsoft SQL Server and Postgre
  SQL.
• Administer and maintain databases to ensure operational excellence and reliability.
• Implement and monitor backup systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with defined recovery strategies.
• Provide technical support to development and APS teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents affecting performance or accessibility.
• Actively participate in
  - incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrences.
• Conduct ongoing technology monitoring to ensure performance and availability through visualization tools (e. G. , Dynatrace, Power BI).
• Assess and deploy innovative solutions to simplify, automate, and optimize database costs.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in developing, optimizing, and monitoring ETL processes (SQL Procedures, Functions, etc. ).
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning, partitioning, and indexing.
• Knowledge of Master Data Services.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and Dev
  Ops (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, and Zabbix.
