Dellent is a consulting company focused on System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants advance their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a 100% remote project. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, developing, and optimizing backend services in Java 8 to 21 with microservices architecture on Linux environments;
2. Building and improving scalable,
   - documented REST APIs;
3. Working with reactive programming technologies like RXJava with Vert
   X;
4. Integrating through Kafka event streams;
5. Deploying and managing services on Google Cloud using Kubernetes and Docker;
6. Applying best development practices, automated testing (unit and integration), monitoring, and Dev
   Ops principles;
7. Collaborating in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban, Spotify Model) and maintaining close communication with other developers;
8. Being part of a team where proactivity, learning, and communication are key to success.

Our ideal candidate has:

• At least 5 years of experience developing in Java 8+;
• Strong experience in microservices architecture and data integration (Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Design, DDD);
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools;
• Experience in cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc. );
• Experience working in agile teams and being autonomous and resourceful;
• A passion for technology and curiosity to learn new tools and paradigms;
• Native or fluent level of Spanish.

Additional valued skills include:

• Knowledge of RXJava, Vert
  X, Web
  Flux, or reactive frameworks;
• Experience with Spring
  Boot, Java 21, and Virtual Threads;
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana;
• Experience in Dev
  Ops and CI/CD with Jenkins;
• Clean code mentality and good software architecture practices.
