What would you do at Prisma?
As a Senior Developer Advocate, you’ll be a
- on creator and communicator, driving Prisma’s social media presence, video content, and contributing to feature and product launches. You’ll specialize in execution—taking strategies and goals and turning them into
- quality, engaging content that grows Prisma’s reach and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead social media growth: Own and execute content planning and publishing on Prisma’s social media accounts with a consistent, trusted developer voice. Drive measurable growth in reach, followers, and engagement.
- Produce video content: Execute Prisma’s video strategy from ideation to production. Create tutorials, launch videos, and explainers that help developers quickly understand and adopt Prisma.
- Drive adoption through education: Create guides, tutorials, and examples that complement launches and onboarding paths and translate technical features into
- driven stories. Repurpose video and social content into actionable learning material. - Community engagement: Actively engage with Prisma’s community on Discord, Git
Hub, and social platforms. - Product feedback: Share feedback with product and advocacy peers to improve messaging and the developer experience, helping us build the right thing.
- Mentorship and team contribution: Share expertise in social media and video production with the broader team; review content and contribute to shared projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, or a related function, with demonstrable impact on outcomes.
- Proven success managing social media for a technical brand or product, with measurable follower and engagement growth.
- Strong video production skills, including scripting, recording, editing, and publishing
- focused video content. - Experience supporting product launches, contributing content that makes features accessible and compelling.
- Deep technical expertise in databases (especially Postgres), with strong knowledge of related technologies (SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, Node. js, Type
Script). - Excellent writing and communication skills, able to create content that is clear, engaging, and
- friendly, with clarity across teams. - Independence and ownership: able to take ideas from concept through execution with minimal guidance.
- Team player and mentor, able to share best practices in content and social growth.
Plus
- Experience with Type
Script and Node. js ecosystems. - Speaking experience at conferences, webinars, or livestreams.

- Take-home challenge (with compensation) and a debrief with the Developer Advocacy team.
- Cross-Functional Interview with members of the Engineering and Product Team.
- Interview with our Head of Developer Connections.
