? Location: Lisbon, Portugal (hybrid) - 2/3 days per week in Client

We are seeking a Software Developer with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high‑quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern development frameworks, a solid understanding of core computer science concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively within global teams.

Responsibilities

• Software solutions
• Unit tests
• Monitoring and alerting configurations
• Technical documentation
• Promote improvements to quality, security, and performance
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Review and refactor existing and newly developed code
• Approach tasks with flexibility and adaptability

Must Have

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and distributed environment
• Critical thinking and strong problem‑solving skills
• Commitment to high‑quality deliverables
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, including Object‑Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Communication Protocols, and Databases
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in C#
• Experience with. NET Core (experience with. NET Framework is also considered)
• Experience with Linux and Docker
• Knowledge of databases and message queues, including deployment and performance tuning (e. g. , Mongo
  DB, Redis, Rabbit
  MQ, Active
  MQ, SQL Server, My
  SQL)
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and g
  RPC

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence
• Previous project delivery experience
• Additional language skills (Portuguese, Spanish)
