As a Software Engineer for the Dev
Ops Team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Dev
Ops approach within an organization.
This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of
- quality software products.
You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software using various cloud platforms.
The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, etc.
- Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for Dev
Ops operations. - Automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP. Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Understand how to choose the best tools and technologies that best fit the business needs.
- BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in a related field. 3-7 years of relevant Dev
Ops experience. - Hands-on experience with various Dev
Ops concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, Sonar
Qube, Artifactory/Nexus. - Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience in building, designing, and maintaining
- based applications with AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. - Knowledge of container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes.
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in
- functional teams. - Knowledge of data protection, privacy, and security domains.
