With the newly founded SAP Sovereign Cloud unit, we are defining the future of sovereign cloud infrastructure for the public sector and regulated industries – with unparalleled security, flexibility, and scale.

Ops Engineer with a focus on enabling SAP Cloud ALM to be part of our journey.

As a Senior Dev
Ops Engineer, you play a vital role in the Product Enablement team within SAP Sovereign Cloud.

Your contributions will be pivotal in automating, scaling, and maintaining our cloud operations at an exemplary level. You will be responsible for orchestrating containerized applications using Kubernetes, supporting regional Sovereign Cloud teams, demonstrating deployment techniques, troubleshooting, and providing guidance on updates and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and manage deployment environments for SAP Cloud ALM within SAP Sovereign Cloud.
• Implement infrastructure as code (Ia
  C) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud
  Formation.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git
  Lab CI, or Azure Dev
  Ops.
• Guide deployments focusing on creating and maintaining resilient cloud solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to regional teams, including demonstrations and upskilling.
• Share knowledge in Dev
  Ops practices, tools, and SAP product deployments.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Dev
  Ops and SAP deployments.

What you bring:

To succeed, you should have:

• Profound experience with Dev
  Ops
• Experience with Python, Go, and/or Bash
• Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Optional: Experience with SAP Cloud ALM

Your work experience should include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant fields
• At least 5 years in professional software development
• At least 3 years of Dev
  Ops experience

You should have a proactive, innovative mindset,
- solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.

Due to the potentially classified nature of our work, willingness to undergo governmental security clearance is necessary.
