We are looking for a Senior Dev
Ops Engineer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon. Position Overview
As a Senior Dev
Ops Engineer , you will collaborate with an international team to lead the transformation of a monolithic Java application hosted on Linux servers into a modern microservices architecture. The role is technically challenging, with a focus on infrastructure automation, performance optimization, and achieving scalability and availability using technologies such as Kubernetes , Kafka , and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments ( Mastery level ). Manage and monitor infrastructure performance and system stability to ensure high availability ( Expert level ). Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities for system quality improvement ( Expert level ). Diagnose and resolve complex issues across diverse environments to maintain operational efficiency ( Expert level ). Required Technical Skills
At least 15+ years of experience in IT, and 5+ years as Dev
Ops
Unix / Bash : Mastery level
Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka : Expert level
Jenkins : Expert level
Helm, Gradle (Groovy), Ansible, SQL, Java : Practical level
Service
Now : Basic knowledge
