CONTEXT
Responsibilities
In the context of the Richemont Dev
Ops platform, the Code&Build team is responsible of providing the following capabilities to its customers (hundreds of projects owned by 28 Maisons and representing ~1500 developers):
- VCS (using Git
Lab) and artefact registry (using JFrog): - Tools upgrade, maintenance and potential migration management
- Governance definition, monitoring and enforcement
- Evangelization of internal customers around best Dev
Ops-oriented software practices - Server-side (TLS) certificates - both public facing and internal ones: governance and tooling (inventory, discovery, and automation).
Ops Engineer with a software development & security mindset, and the usual Dev
Ops stack knowledge.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You will contribute to identify requirements, set best practices, improve our tools governance, processes and automations that enable our customers through Dev
Ops best practices.
- Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points and map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
- Ensure the service we provide creates a seamlessly secured experience to our customers.
- Participate actively in standardizing our offers and contribute to the implementation of integrations, tools, processes and automations.
Soft Skills
- At least, 2–4 years’ experience in Software/Dev
Ops Engineering, ideally in a large company / international environment. - Fluency in English is mandatory (C1 level).
- Strong analytical thinking and
- solving skills to tackle complex challenges (e. g. , tool selection, integration strategies, migration planning). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with
- functional teams. - Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise technical documentation.
- Willingness to automate and simplify workflows.
- Familiarity with the Agile/Dev
Ops operating model.
- Overall technical knowledge to be expected from a seasoned Dev
Ops engineer with a software developer background. - Strong experience with usual Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) capabilities and tools: VCS (Git), Artefact Registry, . . .
- Specific knowledge regarding Git
Lab and JFrog would be a plus. - Proficiency in Python development is mandatory, as it is our primary language of automation. Good knowledge of the language itself and craftsmanship / maintainable software principles is also essential. Knowledge of Django framework can represent a key differentiator.
- Good experience with Docker, AWS or GCP, Terraform and Kubernetes. Certification is a plus.
- Good experience with configuration management using Ansible or an equivalent.
- You will participate in our Dev
