Job Summary
The
Senior Dev
Ops/Infra
Ops Engineer
will play a key role in scaling and securing
Allia Health Group's
cloud infrastructure and operations. Reporting to the Principal Cloud & Security Ops Engineer, this role focuses on automation, observability, and operational resilience across production systems. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of services, while mentoring engineers and promoting modern Dev
Ops practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents)
- Oversee containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker in production
- Implement observability tools for monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with development teams to embed Dev
Ops best practices across the stack - Participate in
- call rotations and incident response to ensure operational continuity
Required Qualifications
- Ideal Degree(s): BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field
- Experience: 4–7 years in Dev
Ops, Infra
Ops, or cloud engineering roles
- Must-Have:
- Strong experience with Google Cloud (AWS/Azure acceptable)
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency with Ia
C tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents) - Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Git
Hub Actions, Git
Lab CI, or equivalents) - Strong background in observability tools (e. G. , Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, load balancing, and secure configurations
- Hands-on experience with incident response and system troubleshooting
