- source innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software on RISC-V-based microcontrollers for
  - time biosignal acquisition and processing
• Optimize system performance for
  - power,
  - grade wearables
• Implement and test secure communication protocols (e. g. , BLE, NFC) for device data transmission
• Collaborate with biomedical engineers on sensor integration and signal filtering
• Ensure compliance with relevant medical device standards (e. g. , ISO 13485, IEC 62304) Required Skills
• Experience with RISC-V toolchains and custom hardware platforms
• Strong embedded C / C++ development skills, with familiarity in RTOS (e. g. , Zephyr, Free
  RTOS)
• Background in
  - power system design and
  - time processing
• Comfortable with debugging, validation, and power / memory optimization
• Understanding of medical device constraints , including reliability and safety Bonus Points
• Prior work with wearables , healthtech , or regulated embedded systems
• Knowledge of biosignal processing (e. g. , ECG, PPG, EMG)
• Experience with secure firmware updates and

  - air provisioning
• Familiarity with open hardware initiatives and the RISC-V community
