Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, you will develop embedded software for vehicle diagnostics solutions for international car manufacturers and independent workshops. Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing with solid experience in C++ with strong emphasis on object‑oriented programming and network programming/protocols
- Defining product requirements, analyzing gaps in existing solutions, and designing and implementing solutions to close those gaps
- Integrating your work and testing it at module and system levels, using simulations or real vehicles in Bosch labs and at customer sites
- Joining a globally distributed team and collaborating with teammates in Germany, Italy and the US to exchange know‑how and jointly develop solutions for customers
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar
- Experience: Ideally 5+ years of embedded software development (Linux-based microprocessor systems) with focus on
- space software; experience in C++, network communication and Linux - Know‑how: Good development infrastructure and tool knowledge (e. g. , Jenkins). Knowledge of product deployment and build management
- Work style: Organized and analytical with a
- solving mindset - Personality: Proactive, curious, and interested in continuous development and learning; ability to work in a team environment
- Languages: Very good knowledge of English
