We’re now looking for a hands‑on engineering leader who can scale our R&D organisation, shape product architecture, and drive technical excellence, while remaining close to the code and the customer.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Scale the Engineering Org: Build, coach, and inspire a world‑class distributed engineering team spanning backend, frontend, Dev
  Sec
  Ops, and QA across Europe and India.
• Own the Product & Platform Vision: Partner with the founding team to define the technical roadmap for our Saa
  S orchestration platform — balancing innovation, reliability, and enterprise readiness.
• Stay Hands‑On: Contribute technically to the platform backend with Python and Go, participate in architecture reviews, and guide design decisions for our orchestration engine, workflow automation, and compliance policy frameworks.
• Evangelize & Represent Stack
  Guardian: Act as a developer advocate and tech community voice — speaking at events, publishing technical insights, and showcasing how Stack
  Guardian simplifies cloud compliance automation.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Implement modern SRE, QA, and testing practices; optimise cloud operations; and ensure our platform meets enterprise‑grade SLAs and security standards.
• Hire from Your Network: Bring in top engineering talent from your personal network for the next phase of growth.

Who We’re Looking For

• Leadership Experience: 5+ years in senior engineering or management roles at startups or scale‑ups, leading 20+ engineers across multiple geographies.
• Saa
  S Domain Experience: Hands‑on experience building or scaling Saa
  S platforms in the Dev
  Sec
  Ops, Cloud Security, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Ia
  C), or Developer Platform domains.
• Technical Foundation: Proven expertise in cloud‑native Saa
  S, microservices, and Dev
  Sec
  Ops architectures. Strong coding background in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with ecosystems like Infrastructure as Code, Security or Developer Platforms is highly desirable.
• Product & Architecture Ownership: Demonstrated success building enterprise Saa
  S platforms — from MVP to scale with focus on reliability, compliance, and user experience.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep familiarity with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway) and Ia
  C tools (Terraform, CDK, Bicep).
• AI/ML Awareness: Experience or curiosity in integrating AI‑powered workflows into Saa
  S products.
• Community Presence: Active in dev ecosystems, speaking at meetups/events, and maintaining an engaged social following or equivalent influence.
• Mindset: Coachable, collaborative, thrives in ambiguity and absolutely non‑bureaucratic.
