Senior Fashion Buyer

Your role:

Under the general supervision of the Retail Director, the buyer will work at our Head Office in Vila do Conde, collaborating with other Buyers, Designers, and Merchandisers to develop new collections for our brands' product selection:

• Preparing, placing, and tracking purchasing documents;
• Being a focal point with national and international suppliers;
• Reporting on product performance and statistics;
• Identifying and implementing new strategies to optimize sales;

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing our brand's future collections, ensuring product samples are received and aligned with specifications;
• Following up on technical evaluations for selected tactical buys with internal stakeholders to ensure timely tendering;
• Analyzing trends and product impact to provide insights for product development and tactical buys, facilitating
  - value tactical buy execution with the category manager;
• Executing negotiations and supplier selection;

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (procurement or legal);
• Fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written;
• A minimum of 5 years of passionate experience in fashion;
• Proven sourcing execution strategies skills;
• Ability to analyze problems and make decisions.
