The Role: Senior Financial Controller

The Location: Porto, Portugal

The Client: Commodities Trading firm

Responsibilities

• All financial management of the entity, corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgets and forecasts, development of internal controls
• Manage all accounting operations - AP, Billing, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Budget preparation, financial forecasts
• Coordinate the prep of regulatory reporting
• Comply with local reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements

• Financial Controller experience monitoring the entire finance function
• Experience with working with stakeholders globally
• Strong Portuguese regulatory knowledge
• Ideally experienced in operating a small sized finance function
