Senior Financial Planning Analyst

We are in constant transformation and looking for a
- motivated, proactive, and flexible Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance Planning & Analysis team in Lisbon.
Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial insights to support strategic
- making across the bank. You will collaborate closely with various business lines, contributing to planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports across business lines.
- Report daily and monthly financial results to the Treasury team.
- Support strategic planning initiatives and
- hoc analysis for different business units. - Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor and report costs to department managers using
- based costing. - Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and
- end financial reporting, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. - Support the Executive Committee in strategic planning and
- making. - Develop business plans, cash flow analyses, KPIs, ROI metrics, and scenario/sensitivity analyses.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of financial planning processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning, Accounting, or Control within the banking sector (experience in wholesale banking is a plus).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Skills
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and
- solving skills. - Proficient in Excel and Power
Point; knowledge of SQL, Kondor, and BI tools is a plus. - Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international team.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
