About the role

Ovyo is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team for an exciting assignment. You will lead a large program of work for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable Type
   Script code to build dynamic and responsive web applications.
2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless,
   - quality features.
3. Optimize Performance: Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible, optimize applications for speed and scalability, and troubleshoot performance issues.
4. Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to uphold standards and mentor junior developers.
5. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, identify bugs, and resolve issues to maintain application stability.
6. Stay Updated with Industry Trends

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
2. 4+ years working with React. js and modern frontend frameworks.
3. Strong proficiency in Type
   Script and Java
   Script.
4. Industry experience in the video streaming / OTT space.
5. Expertise with state management libraries such as Redux or Mob
   X.
6. Solid understanding of web markup (HTML5, CSS3).
7. Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
8. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools like NPM.
9. Experience with
   - driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
