Role Overview

Senior Front End React Developer needed to join our engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity to take a leading role in building high‐quality, production‐ready React/Next
JS single‐page applications for some of the world's most exciting brands. You will drive code quality, unit testing, accessibility and performance, contribute significantly to an Agile development team, and mentor junior developers.

What You'll Be Doing

- Creating prototypes and production‐ready React/Next
JS front‐end single‐page applications

- Driving quality through code, unit testing, accessibility, performance, and code reviews

- Delivering on an Agile workstream of front‐end developers, contributing to daily stand‐ups, sprint planning and estimates

- Communicating confidently with technical and non‐technical colleagues

- Building modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use

- Representing front‐end in a client‐facing capacity

- Cooperating with design and marketing teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements

- Being involved in existing and new integrations for the platform

- Owning projects from idea to delivery, covering ongoing maintenance, expansion and scaling

- Staying current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed

- Mentoring junior team members

What We Want From You

- Strong commercial React development experience with deep understanding of core concepts

- Experience with server‐less and server‐side development using Next
JS

- Solid grasp of state‐management technologies such as Redux or Flux

- Experience with a type‐checking language (Type
Script or Flow;

Script)

- Mastery of semantic HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS), and Java
Script (ES6+)

- Extensive experience with unit testing, end‐to‐end testing and regression testing (Jest, React‐testing‐library, Cypress)

- Deep knowledge of Agile methodology and related practices

- Experience mentoring junior developers

- Experience with component development using Storybook

- Awareness of front‐end trends and best practices in performance optimization, accessibility, SEO, security, and usability

- Commercial experience using Git in a large team with Continuous Integration

- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills

- Proficiency with fluid responsive layouts and cross‐browser/device compatibility issues

- Experience in SPA solutions, ideally within e‐commerce

- Knowledge of modern build pipelines and tools such as Grunt and Webpack

- Willingness to tackle both large, complex projects and smaller tasks as directed

- Experience integrating with various external, third‐party systems

Additional Preferred Experience

- e
Commerce platform experience – Magento, Hybris, Shopify

- Experience with CMS platforms such as AEM, Sitecore or SFCC

- Knowledge of Node. Js, Express, SQL, Lambda, AWS

- Exposure to Java, Node, C#, PHP projects is beneficial
