What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating prototypes and
  - quality
  - ready React/Next
  JS
  - end single page applications
• Driving forward the quality – in code, unit testing, accessibility, performance, code reviews
• Delivering on an Agile workstream of
  - end developers on a project, contributing to daily
  - ups, sprint planning and estimates
• Conversing confidently with technical and
  - technical colleagues
• Building modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Representing
  - end in a
  - facing capacity
• Cooperating with design and marketing teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements for development
• Being involved in existing and new integrations for the platform
• Having full
  -
  - end ownership from idea to delivery, covering ongoing maintenance, expansion and scaling
• Staying current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed
• Mentoring junior candidates

What We Want From You

• Strong commercial experience of hands on React development, with a solid understanding of the core concepts
• Strong commercial experience of serverless development and
  - side development with Next
  JS
• Solid understanding of state management technologies/approaches i. e. Redux, Flux
• Extensive Experience with a Type Checking language either Flow or Type
  Script (we use Type
  Script)
• Mastery of semantic HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS) and Java
  Script (ES6+) adhering to industry defined coding standards
• Extensive experience of unit testing/End to end testing/regression testing (we use Jest, React-testing-libraries and Cypress)
• Solid understanding of the Agile methodology i. e. Story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, sprint demos
• Experience of mentoring junior members of the team
• Experience in component development with Storybook
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in
  - end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, SEO, security and usability
• Commercial experience of using GIT in a large development team performing Continuous Integration
• Excellent communication skills and capability to interact directly with the team and stakeholders
• Proficient understanding of fluid responsive layouts,
  - browser and
  - device compatibility issues
• Commercial experience working on SPA solutions, ideally within
  - commerce
• Familiarity with modern
  - end build pipelines and tools such as Grunt and webpack
• Willingness to contribute to both large, complex projects and smaller tasks as directed
• Have experience of integrating with a variety of external, 3rd party systems

If You Know Some Of This, Even Better

• Additional Commercial e
  Commerce platform experience – Magento/Hybris /Shopify
• Experience of working with other CMS platforms such as AEM, Sitecore or SFCC
• Any knowledge of Nodejs, Express, SQL, Lambda, AWS
• Experience working on Java/Node/C#/PHP projects would be beneficial
