In order to support our growing engineering department, our enablement team is currently looking for a new member. As a frontend engineer, you'll contribute to the development of new features for our platform to provide the most useful and trustworthy insights to our users. You'll also have a fundamental role in improving the tech excellency of our microservices architecture.

Your tasks:

Help to migrate and improve our tech stack to a microservice architecture with multiple universal
- end applications built on React.
Design, develop, integrate, deploy and monitor frontend applications for our kununu.com web platform.
Implement new features in collaboration with our product and design team.
Optimize performance across browsers, with a focus on small screens and mobile first.
Provide technical guidance for our junior engineers to help them grow.

Your skills:

Several years of practical experience in Frontend Development, preferably with Java
Script.
Experience with modern Java
Script frameworks, especially React.
Familiarity with Type
Script is a strong advantage.
An university degree in computer science or a related technical field is a plus.
Ability to write clean, modular, thoroughly unit tested code for maintainability and scalability.
Enjoy working in agile teams focused on achieving goals together.
A good sense of humor to fit into our Dev Team.
Experience developing applications inside virtualized containers like Docker and with Cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Fluent English skills; German is a plus.
