Senior Frontend Engineer

Ovyo is an professional services company specializing in the satellite, telecommunications, media, and broadcasting, transportation and many more sectors. Our management team is located in the UK and Portugal and we have technical teams based across Europe and India.

Responsibilities :

• Work in collaboration with the Lead Engineer, your peers on the development team, and internal stakeholders such as product managers, designers, and QAs, to ensure project requirements are translated and coded into technical solutions on the assigned project successfully
• Develop, test, and maintain
  - quality code that is clean, efficient, and follows best practices
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in
  - driven development to ensure the stability and reliability of your code
• Ensure that code is
  - documented, making it easier for other developers to understand and maintain moving forward
• Take ownership of key deliverables, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
• Ensure long term software quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Assist with technical resolution of issues on production and development systems
• Understanding of the full stack of the application
• Participate in design and development of
  - based backend development efforts.

Required Experience :

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in modern React ecosystem
• State management experience: Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or other state management libraries
• Type
  Script proficiency
• Experience with code splitting, lazy loading, and React performance optimization techniques
• Experience with Webpack, Vite, or other modern build tools
• Experience with
  - components, Material-UI, or similar
• API integration experience
• Familiar with (or willing to learn) Scrum and agile methodology
• Any additional frontend development languages, technologies and frameworks, in addition to Java
  Script, Type
  Script and React
  JS constitute a clear advantage
• Excellent command of English
