Location

You can work in Qonto as long as you’re living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop new product features for our customers within the Cross‑Functional Team.
• Suggest and spearhead improvements (tooling, best practices).
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other tech teams.

Challenges for you & your future team

• High standards of performance, illustrated in a recent article by Florian, Leader of our Frontend Guild.
• Our web apps were developed using Ember. js, and we have released several open‑source Java
  Script libraries.
• The Frontend team is migrating to React, offering an exciting time to hone expertise in React.
• You will use AI‑powered tools such as Dust and Git
  Hub Copilot to accelerate the migration.
• If you’re not familiar with React or Ember, we provide pair‑programming and dedicated time to learn React through an interactive course.

About You

• Proficiency in frontend engineering: at least three years of professional experience with React. js or Ember. js, plus HTML and CSS (pure CSS, as we do not use Tailwind).
• Attention to detail: you strive for excellence and avoid glossing over minor issues.
• Communication skills: you explain your thoughts clearly, concisely, and accurately.
