Your Role

With a keen interest in the development field, your main objective will be to develop software in accordance with the strategy of Kuehne+Nagel. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development and writing of code alongside suitable and appropriate testing, and effective implementation. If you have extensive experience in this field and you are looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing new and enhancing existing functionality of enterprise IT solutions
• Delivering
  -
  - end solutions, from requirement analysis to solution design, through to development, acceptance testing, and deployment of the finished application
• Ensuring high quality code, high levels of test coverage and security driven development
• Solution design in conjunction with the business stakeholders
• Support all activities across the full software development cycle
• Play to the strengths of the team in order to meet agreed delivery dates

Your Skills and Experiences

• Proficiency with fundamental
  - end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Java
  Script.
• Several years of experience in Angular, other Java
  Script frameworks such as React, Vue are a plus.
• Knowledge of UI/UX and prototype design.
• Strong understanding of system design.
• Soft-skills: Excellent
  - thinking and initiative skills, and good time management and organization skills.
• Proficiency with
  - side languages/frameworks such as Node. js, Express, Java, Spring is a plus.
• Familiarity with database technology such as Postgres, My
  SQL, Oracle, and Mongo
  DB is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
