Senior Functional Assistant / Business Analyst

Location:
Lisbon

Hybrid:
2-3 times a week in Lisbon

Candidates must be in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

We are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst
with a strong functional background to join a dynamic Agile team and support
-
- end business and functional analysis across critical projects. You will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements and documentation.

Required Skills
:

• 4+ years of experience as a
  Business Analyst
  in IT environments

Proven experience with:

• Requirements gathering and analysis
• Writing
  functional specifications
  ,
  user stories
  , and
  story mapping
• Supporting
  testing activities
  : documentation, execution, and validation
• Producing
  functional and technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
• Ability to act as a bridge between business users and technical teams
• Solid knowledge of
  SQL queries
  and understanding of
  database models
• Good grasp of
  technical architecture
• Experience working in
  Agile environments
• Fluency in
  French (C1)
  and
  English (B2/C1)
• Candidates must be in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Nice to Have
:

• Previous experience in the
  banking industry
  or financial services

Responsibilities
:

• Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories
• Facilitate communication between business units and development teams
• Support testing phases through documentation, validation, and user support
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (daily
  - ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis and documentation processes
