About the Role

emagine collaborates with some of the most esteemed international companies and brands. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and uncompromised quality. We are expanding our Finance Team with an ambitious,
- minded, and motivated Senior GL Accountant with French language skills, based in our finance center of excellence in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, including monthly closing, excluding most Order to Cash aspects
• Ensure tax compliance (VAT, Income Taxes, Local Business Taxes)
• Support financial and tax audits
• Perform cash reconciliation, treasury management, and payments
• Process supplier invoices (partially automated)
• Contribute to process optimization, automation, and controls

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in an international environment, with direct experience in French accounting and tax compliance
• Proficiency in English and good business French skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong ERP skills, especially with Business Central
• High discipline and structured approach to working with data
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain an overview
• Quick learner with adaptability and development mindset
