Overview

We are expanding our Finance Team with an ambitious,
- minded and motivated Senior GL Accountant with French based in our finance center of excellence in Lisbon. You will be primarily responsible for the GL accounting and tax compliance for the French subsidiaries, working closely with other GL accounting and controlling resources. You will also provide secondary support to other countries.

Responsibilities

• General accounting including monthly close (excluding most Order to Cash aspects)
• Tax compliance (VAT, Income Taxes, Local Business Taxes)
• Financial and tax audits
• Cash reconciliation, treasury management and payments
• Supplier invoice processing (partially automated)
• Contribute to process optimization, automation and controls

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in an international context with direct experience with French accounting and tax compliance
• Excellent level of English plus good business French
• Excellent teamwork and communication (written and verbal)
• Strong ERP skills (Business Central)
• Strong Excel skills
• High discipline and structure in working with data
• High sense of detail and overview
• Ability to learn, adapt and develop quickly
