- minded, and motivated Senior GL Accountant with French based in our finance center of excellence in Lisbon.

You will be primarily responsible for GL accounting and tax compliance for the French subsidiaries, working closely with other GL accounting and controlling resources. You will also support other countries as needed.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting including monthly close, excluding most Order to Cash aspects
• Tax compliance (VAT, Income Taxes, Local Business Taxes)
• Financial and tax audits
• Cash reconciliation, treasury management, and payments
• Supplier invoice processing (partially automated)
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation, and controls

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in an international context, with direct experience in French accounting and tax compliance
• Excellent command of English and good business French skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong ERP skills (Business Central)
• High discipline and structured approach to working with data
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain overview
• Ability to learn, adapt, and develop quickly
