Infrastructure Senior Consultant

What is this challenge about

• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and systems issues in a timely manner
• Monitor, detect, and respond to service interruptions or performance degradation
• Maintain and optimize hybrid environments with
  - premises and
  - based servers
• Apply updates, patches, and conduct regular backups to ensure operational stability
• Enforce security measures and carry out audits and assessments
• Install, configure, and maintain server platforms and supporting services
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams including networks, security, and development
• Participate in
  - call rotations for incident response when required
• Implement automation to streamline operations and reduce manual work
• Produce and update technical documentation and operational procedures

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years in infrastructure, systems operations, or datacenter management
• Industry certifications (AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft, Cisco) valued
• Strong in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, IAM, storage, clustering, HA
• Experience with cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and datacenter environments
• Security-focused: hardening, firewalls, DR, vulnerability management
• Skilled in automation/scripting (Python, Power
  Shell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk)
• Fluent level of
  English
  (mandatory);
• Availability to work in a hybrid environment – 3 times per week in the office in Lisbon.
