Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Airspace Mobility Solutions

Join Thales as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the Airspace Mobility Solutions team. This role focuses on integrating, configuring, and validating infrastructure solutions to meet technical and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure and validate infrastructure solutions, ensuring all technical and functional requirements are met.
• Produce and maintain detailed design documentation, solution specifications, test plans and bills of material.
• Lead activities and small teams within agile sprints, coordinating design, integration and
  - fix deliveries.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and hardware/software integration in complex environments.
• Identify technical risks and propose effective solutions while actively participating in design reviews and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Solid experience with Red Hat Linux systems, including configuration, performance tuning, hardening and automation.
• Strong skills in automation with Ansible and experience with CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Jenkins, Octopus, Travis).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl, YAML) for automation and integration.
• Knowledge of hardware and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Cisco/HP/Lenovo) and hardware validation processes.
