Responsibilities

We seek an exceptional Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in building
- performing, scalable,
- grade applications. You will be responsible for developing a
- performance queuing/storage engine, working in a polyglot environment, and collaborating with an enthusiastic team. Responsibilities include:

Software Engineering

• Designing and developing
  - volume,
  - latency applications for
  - critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Evaluating and proposing improvements to existing systems
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting architectural recommendations
• Maintaining and evolving cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Managing Kubernetes clusters
• Ensuring infrastructure security and compliance
• Developing monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions

Open
Search Expertise

• Scaling Open
  Search clusters to handle heavy workloads, optimizing indexing and query performance
• Implementing sharding strategies for performance and storage balance
• Performance tuning of Open
  Search, JVM settings, and cache optimization
• Designing disaster recovery solutions with
  - cluster replication and snapshots
• Implementing vector search capabilities for ML applications, including
  - NN and ANN algorithms
• Developing custom Open
  Search plugins for specialized needs
• Deploying and managing
  - hosted Open
  Search clusters in Kubernetes
• Monitoring Open
  Search performance and automating scaling

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of industry experience
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker
• Hands-on solution implementation approach
• Good understanding of Linux networking and security
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with GO, Python, Java, Ruby, and databases like Postgre
  SQL
• Contributions to open source projects are a plus
