About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Integration Architect for a
- term contract engagement. You will play a key role in designing and implementing integration microservices , supporting development teams, and modernizing legacy systems.

This role requires deep experience in Java Spring Boot services , Kafka , and integration architecture, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable solutions. Occasional travel may be required (0–15%).

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement integration microservices for complex systems.

Support development teams in building and deploying Java Spring Boot services.

Redesign and replace legacy integrations with modern, scalable solutions.

Work with messaging platforms, particularly Kafka , to ensure reliable data flows.

Collaborate with
- functional teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.

Provide guidance and mentoring to development teams on best practices and integration strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Integration Architect or similar role.

Strong background with integration microservices.

Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot.

Experience with Kafka for messaging and
- driven architectures.

Experience in redesigning and replacing legacy integrations.

Strong
- solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects.

Contract Details

Long-term contract with potential for extension.

Fully remote within Portugal (other locations may be considered depending on project).
