Senior IT Architect Procurement (f/m/div) Maia

Overview

Are you the one for the bigger picture? Do you want to use your consulting skills to translate business requirements into a future IT solution landscape? As a Senior IT Architect, you will be responsible for SAP centered IT architecture in the procurement domain and aligning it with peer architects to ensure a consistent IT Target Architecture. You will maintain networks to drive and participate in projects, initiatives and boards within Infineon to enable best practice procurement processes.

Senior IT Architect Procurement will design and implement a
- ready IT Target Architecture for the Procurement and Mobility domains, integrating private cloud, public cloud, and
- premise solutions like SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. You will maintain the current IT As‑Is Architecture while driving innovation, ensuring data quality, and aligning solution designs with enterprise architecture governance. You will collaborate with solution owners and external providers to shape roadmaps and deliver scalable IT solutions for the Procurement domain.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Procurement Business Strategy into a
  - proven IT Target Architecture for the Procurement and Mobility domain consisting of Private, Public Cloud, and
  - premise (SAP S/4HANA) solutions
• Maintain the IT As-Is Architecture consisting of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba (Public Cloud), and numerous
  - SAP applications for Procurement and Mobility
• Ensure data quality in our Enterprise Application Management tool as part of Enterprise Architecture governance for Procurement and Mobility
• Support the continuous enhancement of Guidelines within Enterprise Architecture Governance
• Conduct assessments in your area of responsibility for critical demands and create related architecture artifacts
• Support the creation of the application roadmap for Procurement
• Understand and track roadmaps of IT Procurement solutions in collaboration with their providers
• Drive best practice exchange with other enterprises and IT solution providers in the Procurement domain
• Align with solution owners, consult and guide them with a focus on solution design and IT architecture

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture in the Procurement and Travel solutions domain with a deep understanding of related processes
• Expert knowledge of SAP MM, PUR and Concur; experience with Ivalua, SAP FI/CO, SAP PP on S/4HANA is highly appreciated
• Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP SLP, and SAP MDG is helpful to perform tasks
• Ability to abstract and present IT solutions at an Enterprise Architecture level
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, intercultural competencies
• Fluent English; German is a plus
