Senior IT Support (Hybrid)

Wave, we are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support to join and lead our team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for desktops, laptops, and network equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

IT Support Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT Support and Helpdesk team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Oversee daily operations of the IT Helpdesk, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Manage and maintain Office365, including Exchange Online, Share
  Point, Teams, security, and compliance features.
• Maintain and enhance onboarding/offboarding processes, including account provisioning, hardware allocation, and access governance.
• Administer and maintain multi‑site network infrastructure across all physical offices.
• Manage pf
  Sense firewalls, including rules, configurations, VPN tunnels, IDS/IPS, and performance.
• Oversee VPN architecture, including remote access, site‑to‑site connectivity, and secure authentication.
• Manage and monitor backups using Veeam and Windows Server Backup.
• Maintain, test, and improve backup and disaster recovery plans.

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT consulting or IT support leadership roles, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring IT teams.
• Strong expertise in Office365, Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Experience with Power Platform development and administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware, and system administration.
• Experience managing complex networking environments, including firewalls, VPN, and multi‑site communication.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
