The Job Opening

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Design complex backend systems ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Lead technical projects, make strategic decisions, and guide the team in best practices and technical standards.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and best practices.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure the system operates efficiently under load.
• Design and implement robust security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior and
  - level developers, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices; propose and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Java, including advanced topics such as concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Deep expertise with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate.
• Extensive experience with relational (Postgre
  SQL, My
  SQL) and No
  SQL (Mongo
  DB, Cassandra) databases.
• In-depth understanding of web technologies, HTTP, REST, web security principles.
• Proficiency with IDEs (Intelli
  J IDEA), build tools (Maven), VCS (Bitbucket).
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs and microservices architecture; knowledge of asynchronous communication (e. g. , AWS).
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud native (AWS EC2).
• Proven experience building scalable systems, performance tuning, and managing
  - scale distributed systems.
• Outstanding problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior and
  - level developers.
• Strategic mindset to align technical decisions with business goals.
