Senior Java Developer Porto

Join us as a Senior Java Developer at CGI.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver stories and epics covering the Java web server and Java services.
• Provide L3 support when needed.
• Contribute to the reengineering of the core components when and where required.
• Become SME of the bonds platform architecture and capabilities.
• Proactively identify issues and propose solutions.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of software development experience in Java.
• In-depth knowledge of Java Concurrency, Java Persistence API, Spring Boot, Spring Security.
• Understanding of cyber security.
• Experience in Blockchain or DLT or in DAML smart contract language or Haskell is a strong plus.
• Java, SQL, Blockchain or DLT, HTML and Java
  Script / Type
  Script.

Language Skills:

• Good English communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Soft Skills:

• Good analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks.
• Proactive team player, must be physically in Portugal and work at the office 3/5 days a week.
