Senior Java Developer

Overview

Senior Java Developer role at Capgemini. This position is based in Lisbon with hybrid/remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions aligned with client requirements and expectations.
• Participate in business meetings to define sprint planning, prioritize tasks, and manage the product backlog.
• Join daily
  - up meetings with the team to monitor progress and update ongoing activities.

Your profile / Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a Backend Developer (Java).
• Proven experience in both microservices and monolithic architecture projects.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate ORM, Quarkus, and JPA.
• Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with BPMN workflow development, preferably using Flowable.
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, and functional testing (JUnit).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Portuguese fluent.
