Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll join a collaborative and tech team, shaping scalable solutions that empower millions of adventurers.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain backend applications in Java, with a focus on Spring Boot.
• Implement efficient and secure RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational databases My
  SQL and/or Postgre
  SQL and relational databases Cassandra and/or Mongo
  DB.
• Integrate and optimise persistence solutions using Hibernate.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito and/or GUnit).
• Participate in defining architectures and good development practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of end solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and AWS.
• Work in cloud environments with AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and service management.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST API.
• Solid experience with My
  SQL, Postgre
  SQL, Cassandra and/or Mongo
  DB.
• Familiarized with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc. ).
• Experience using Docker.
• Experience with Mockito, JUnit and/or GUnit.
• At least B2 level of English.
• Based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Git
  Lab CI, etc. ).
