Job Description:

We are looking for a developer with strong knowledge and experience working with Java (J2EE)

What You Will Do:

Develop new features in critical systems.

Apply best practices in code quality and testing.

Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and cloud environments.

Responsabilities:

- Design and implement new features and functionalities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Must Have:

- Academic Background:

Higher education or attendance in computer engineering, management information technology, data science and statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar.

- Min. 6 experiences with java development, mainly with Java EE specification modules:

○ JSF

○ EJB

○ JMS

○ Hibernate

- Front
End development experience using Primefaces

- Unit tests (Junit, Mockito)

- SQL knowledge (Oracle 10)

- Webservices knowledge, mainly SOAP

- Fluent in Portuguese

Nice to Have:

- Methodologies:

Agile

- Application Servers Knowledge, mainly Jboss EAP

Tools:

- Knowlegde in de Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven

Languages & Soft Skills:

- Language:

Fluent in spoken and written English (nice to have).

Location:

Need to be in Portugal, preferably in Lisbon, or plan to be soon

Working Model:

Hybrid (2/3 days at the client office)
