Senior Java Engineer (f/m/div. ) at Bosch Home Comfort Portugal. Located in Ovar, Portugal. Full-time, hybrid work system. Start date is Medi an agreement. Legal entity: Bosch Service Solutions S. A.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale
  - quality Java Spring Boot microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev
  Ops to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate on architecting and implementing robust Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Pulumi).
• Champion clean code and test automation; apply modern software engineering best practices.
• Lead efforts to enhance the security posture of applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues across the full stack.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of software and cloud platforms.
• Mentor, perform code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in Java,
  - native development, and Dev
  Ops.

What Distinguishes You / Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience designing and building scalable,
  - grade Java applications with the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Dev
  Ops mindset with
  - on experience in Azure or related cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS); experience with deployment manifests and application lifecycles.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code with
  - on experience in Bicep or Pulumi (strong plus).
• Scripting automation experience (Bash and/or Type
  Script) in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Azure Networking (VNet, Private Link, VPN).
• Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
