Senior Java Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Languages: English (B2-C1) - french is a plus

Work model: 4 days in the office

Recruitment Process:

• Initial Interview (~40 minutes)
• Two
  - depth interview sessions (~3 hours each)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

You will join a large organization operating in the financial services sector and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of software solutions by:

Your Profile:

• Senior Fullstack Java developer with extensive experience designing and delivering
  - grade applications
• Strong background in Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases
• Comfortable working in English, both spoken and written
• Agile mindset, proactive attitude, and a keen interest in Dev
  Ops and cloud architecture
• Experienced mentor, supporting the growth of junior developers
• Currently based in Portugal and legally authorized to work there

Technical Environment:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java, JPA/Hibernate, Spring, SQL, Angular (or other
  - end frameworks as a plus)
• Relational databases
• Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, JUnit
• Processes & Methodologies: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of BPM notation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver
  - quality,
  - ready features aligned with sprint goals and team priorities
• Design, develop, and integrate complex business workflow applications, including configuring business rules to meet client needs
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing workflows and applications to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate closely with
  - functional teams to propose and implement innovative technical solutions that improve the software portfolio
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth
