Senior Java Software Engineer (Kotlin + PIM) Viseu

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Developer with solid experience in PIM (Product Information Management), to work from Portugal.

In an Agile and collaborative environment, you will take ownership of the technical aspects of development and build
- quality software systems. You will use your expertise in Kotlin or Java (if you are eager to work with Kotlin) to design and implement robust and scalable backend solutions, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust and scalable backend solutions using Kotlin or Java.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Take ownership of technical aspects of development within an Agile team.

Requirements

• Solid Experience with PIM (Product Information Management)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend development
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD) and Shift-Left
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD
• Knowledge in Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Graph

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and other relevant backend frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
