Senior Java Software Engineer (Kotlin + PIM) Braga

Overview

We-'re looking for a Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Developer with solid experience with PIM (Product Information Management), to work from PORTUGAL.

As part of our team, you will work in an Agile and collaborative environment, taking ownership of the technical aspects of development, and building quality software systems. You will use your expertise in Kotlin or Java (if eager to work with Kotlin) to design and implement robust and scalable backend solutions. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust and scalable backend solutions in Kotlin or Java, aligned with PIM requirements.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment in an Agile environment.

• Collaborate with
- functional teams to define, design, implement, and test backend services.

• Own technical aspects of development and contribute to software quality and maintainability.

• Ensure operational excellence through CI/CD, automated testing, and effective monitoring.

Requirements

• Solid Experience with PIM (Product Information Management)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend development
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift-Left
• Proficiency in Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Knowledge in Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Graph
  QL Federation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and other relevant backend frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
