About the Role

Our client is a leading organization in the logistics technology sector, and we are looking for a skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join their agile Dev
Ops environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, Java Spring–based microservices for fleet systems, backend platforms, and integrations with nationwide mobility solutions.
• Take
  -
  - end ownership of product features and ensure stable operational performance.
• Design and implement Java Spring (micro-)services and Angular (JS/TS) web applications within a REST/JSON-driven architecture.
• Contribute to the ongoing cloud transformation (AWS + Kubernetes), from architectural input to container orchestration.
• Work closely with
  - related components and backend systems, gaining a deep understanding of the full IT environment.
• Apply test automation across all relevant layers to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Operate confidently across a variety of scripting languages, frameworks, and build/test environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• English full professional fluency (spoken and written).

Required Skills

• Solid professional experience in Java development (5+ years experience), preferably with Spring or Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Experience delivering
  - oriented software solutions in agile settings.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Angular (JS/TS) or modern frontend frameworks.
• Test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.

Additional Information

• Willingness to travel.
• Hybrid model: one day per week onsite in Lisbon office (mandatory).
