Senior / Lead Machine Learning Engineer - E-commerce / Marketplace - Lisbon, Portugal

We are looking for experienced Machine Learning Engineers to join our growing international team. You’ll work on projects that use data to improve product quality, optimize marketing, and discover new market opportunities.

Teams you could join:

Market Intelligence: Improve product descriptions, translations, and recommendations, and identify promising products and market segments.

Marketing Automation: Build systems that automate ad buying and boost campaign performance.

What you’ll do:

Analyze data, form hypotheses, build and test models, and deploy solutions into production.

Write
- quality, efficient, and scalable code for
- world applications.

Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and other teams across different countries.

Tech Stack: Go, Python, Scala, Spark, LLMs, Py
Torch, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Mongo
DB, Cassandra, Kafka, Jenkins.

What we’re looking for:

Strong skills in algorithms and data structures.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, with experience in
- load, distributed systems.

Hands-on experience in machine learning, from data analysis to deployment.

Knowledge of common ML methods (linear models, GBDT, DNN, etc. ) and statistics.

Nice to have:

Experience in recommendation or search systems.

Background in neural network training.

Familiarity with Spark, Cassandra, Mongo, Kafka, or Go.
